Even after giving the correct credentials i am unable to clone the GitLab project.
I am getting the following error.
$ git clone https://gitlab.com/user-name/project-name.git Cloning into 'project-name'... remote: The project you were looking for could not be found. fatal: repository 'https://gitlab.com/user-name/project-name.git/' not found
Download TortoiseGit for Windows. Right click in folder where you want to clone your github repository.
Go to TortoiseGit > Setting.
Left Panel you are able to see Git > Credential.
From right panel select Credential helper NONE and then press OK.
Clone repository via TortoiseGit Clone option. Enter your credentials.
This happens in some cases where your computer's username is different from the GitLab's username.
You can solve it by adding the username
git clone https://[email protected]/user-name/project-name.git
